I am currently looking for volunteers to submit any transcribed records that they may have in their possession. I am looking for any documented information such as birth, death, marriage, divorce, census, cemetery, etc. I will give credit to any individual who submits information.

More important I am looking for volunteers for State and County Coordinators such as the USGenWeb has. If you are interested in any of these positions, please let me know.

Several years ago I had a vision of using the Internet to establish one central location for researching the Reynolds family. As time passed I realized that the likely hood of such a dream was just that – a dream. Although there was a great deal of information on the web, it was scattered across many different sites with no connection between the sites and much of it was not documented in any way.

I have long admired the USGenWeb Project for the work they have done in getting each county in each state on the Internet. I felt that this format could also be used by the Reynolds Circle to document the records of this family. Of course there is no way that one person can hope to accomplish such a monumental feat. It will take the work of hundreds of volunteers to bring such a project to life, but I felt that it must start somewhere.

This purpose of this site is to provide documentation of the family of William Reynolds who married Jane Milliken in Green County, Tennessee on August 23, 1790, their descendants and related families.

There will be no attempt to connect one individual to another unless the record itself makes the connection, however we will provide notes submitted by visitors establishing a connection.

The division is by State, and then County, and within the county will contain any information that is found about the Reynolds family.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of the records, relying on that of the transcriber. The records presented for a locale may not represent an exhaustive search. It is the users responsibility to further verify any information received from this site.

Since this is a truly "works in progress" project I'm not sure exactly how things will go or where I will go with these sites. Any suggestions or comments will be deeply appreciated.
