  POPE COUNTY, ARKANSAS HISTORY Andrew and Martha Reynolds moved to Arkansas in 1856. They settled in the Moreland Township, Pope County with their son Henry, one of fifteen children. Henry and Sally Reynolds had a son, Elmore born in the vicinity of Dover, Arkansas April 22, 1868. Elmore Reynolds, married Mary Elizabeth Owens, born July 29, 1880 and settled at Pea Ridge, north of Atkins, Arkansas in the St. Joe Community, Elmore was a farmer and blacksmith. They had eight children. 1. Susie R. Della Reynolds Taylor born February 12, 1898, deceased July 1, 1932. 2. Sarah Lucindy Reynolds Dnnis, born April 24, 1901. 3. Artie May Reynolds, born August 28, 1908, deceased January 30, 1925. 4. Robert Elmer Reynolds, born October 16, 1909. 5. Hazel Mary Jane Reynolds Ennis, born September 8, 1912, deceased October 29, 1971. 6. Covy Clyde Reynolds, born July 23, 1913, deceased December 26, 1979. 7. Opel Rene Reynolds, born April 30, 1915, deceased February 1, 1925. 8. Arthur Haney Reynolds, born December 25, 1920. Elmore was deceased May 13, 1939 and Mary deceased April 21, 1957 and both are buried in the St. Joe Cemetery. Cova Clyde Reynolds married Audra Helen Duvall, born May 3, 1922 on June 8, 1940. They made their home on Pea Ridge. In the early 1940;s they bought a seventy-seven acre farm known as the "Uncle Henry Venable farm". Later they added another forth acres to the farm known as the "George McGee Farm". They lived on the farm except for about one year while a new home was being built. Cova was a farmer and a retired factory worker. Cova and Audra are the parents of two children. Marilyn Jean, born November 10, 1943 and Eddit Ray, born January 21, 1955. Marilyn married James Roy Hallum December 23, 1966. They have two daughters, Kimberly Dianne, born October 20, 1967, in Norwich, Connecticut and Sarah Celeste, Born February 15, 1972 in Little Rock Arkansas. They now make their home in Little Rock and attend the Meadowcliff Baptist Church. Eddie married Linda Doty August 5, 1978.
