  Pearl V. PHILLIPS. Pearl V. Phillips, 93, of Waco, formerly of Big Spring, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 21, 2004 at the Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM, at the funeral home.. Mrs. Phillips was married to John Phillips, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1977.. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco, and a former member of College Baptist Church in Big Spring.. Mrs. Phillips was a teacher, a caregiver and a housewife. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.. Survivors include one son Don Phillips and his wife Shirley of Ft. Worth; one daughter, Twila Tapp of Waco, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters..
