  Richard Reynolds (youngest son of William bn 1808) PBaker720 added this on 19 Feb 2014 Samuel Runnels born 1808 to William and Jane Reynolds found in Samuels obituary. The only conclusion is that Samuel Reynolds changed his name from Richard Reynolds to Samuel Runnels prior to settling in Sullivan co. Missouri. Samuels son Issac born in Ohio, fought in Civil War, and settled in Johnson co, Texas 1870. I found a copy of Samuels Obit. in a book of Sullivan County Missouri History clearly states born in Flat Creek, Tn to William and Jane in 1808. Will accept any information regarding this Family.
