  NOBLES, Winston B. a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, age 74, a resident of Marbury, AL; passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Hodo, Rev. Ashley Davis and Minister Pat Hayslip officiating. Burial will follow at Union Congregational Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Nobles is preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Easter Pearl Nobles, his brother, Bernard Nobles, sister, Lois Farmer, and his father & mother in law, Rev. George & Inez Norris. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Norris Nobles, one son, Winston Keith (Janie) Nobles, one daughter, Mitzi L. Nobles, one brother, Richard "Buddy" Nobles, brother & sister in law, Claxton & Mary Gray, three grandchildren, Corey (Megan) Dennis, Breanna Nobles, Gracie Nobles, three great-grandchildren, Abby Dennis, Anna-Kate Dennis, Connor Dennis and his beloved dog, Sadie. Active pallbearers will be Alan Farmer, Ricky Nobles, Victor Nobles, Claxton Gray, Jason Gray, David Moncrief, Michael Bridges. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Farmer, Jim & Janet Gore.
