• Notes

  Miss Catherine Floyd married H.C. Bearden in 1870. He preceded her in death. After their marriage, the moved to Texas from Tennessee. Six children were born to this union, five survive: Mrs. Warren Smith of Olney, Mrs. Maggie Satterfield and Mrs. Mary Rhodes of Amarillo, John Bearden of Hartley, Allen Bearden of Chico; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren.
