  Obituary: Terry W. Eckstein, 63 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Born Monday, September 22, 1947 in Decatur, Alabama, he was the son of the late Roy Eckstein and the late Ila Dean Wales Eckstein. He was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and a member of Wooley Springs Church of Christ. He was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed visiting family and friends. He was the owner of Eckstein's Grocery Store at Pinedale. Surviving are his wife: Barbara Marie Holman Eckstein of Ardmore, AL, son, Gary Eckstein of Ardmore, AL, daughters, Karen (Travis) Taylor of Harvest, AL, Sharon (Armando) Sanchez of Huntsville, AL, Michelle (Pete) Erbach of Harvest, AL and Melanie Eckstein of Ardmore, AL, brothers, Wade Eckstein of Ardmore, AL, Mike Eckstein of Ardmore, AL and Ronnie Eckstein of Ardmore, AL, sisters, Freda Thompson of Ardmore, AL and June Rogers of Ardmore, AL, grandchildren include: Markus, Lizzy, Micah, Kalista, and Jase. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Stonecypher officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL. The family will recieve friends on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6 PM until 9 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
