    • Yakima Herald-Republic (WA) - July 12, 2003 Deceased Name: Lindsey Hugh "Lin" Wales Keith & Keith Funeral Home YAKIMA - Lindsey Hugh "Lin" Wales, age 79, of Yakima, died July 8, 2003. He was born October 30, 1923, in Scotland, Arkansas, and had been a resident of the Yakima area for the past 54 years. Mr. Wales was a WWII Veteran serving in the US Navy. He worked at the Boise Cascade mill for 32 years as a mechanic, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Yakima Valley Rabbit Breeders Association and a lifetime member of the ARBA. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Mary, at home; sons, Dennis Wales, Yakima, Larry and wife, Paula Wales, Yakima; daughters, Linda Vance, Yakima, Della and husband, Vinnie Schwer, of Abingdon, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Celah, Kacey, Sarah, Haley, Davita, Anthony and Adam; three great-grandsons, Ely, Cooper, and Simon; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Marge Wales, of Selah; sisters, Mary Fischer (Fisher?) of Yakima, Jean and husband, Bob Cooper,of Kent. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Interment to follow at West Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 5PM Sunday at the funeral home.
