    • Bill J. Reed, 89, formerly of Paris passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007, in Dallas at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received him into its care. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Bryan officiating. Burial follows in Detroit Cemetery. He was born Jan. 16, 1918, the son of Lewis Monroe and Annie Maggie Johnson Reed in Clarksville. "Daddy Bill," as he was known, married Mary Katherine Reed in September 1939. Then, he married Charlie Robinson Reed in June 1991. They both preceded him in death. He served in the Army during World War II at the Red River Arsenal. He was the manager of White's Auto Store in Paris for 30 years. He loved to travel in his motor home and was known as a "people" person who also loved hunting and raising bird dogs. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. Published April 8, 2007
