385 | Cathy Haynes Porch, 58, of Union Grove died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Marshall Medical Center North. Mrs. Porch was born Sept. 18, 1952, in Jackson County to Sidney Haynes and Cleo Brodgon Haynes. She was married to Jack Steve Porch for 31 years. She was a high school graduate and attended two years of college. She was a previous resident of Scottsboro but has called Union Grove home since August of 2006. She was a member of Union Grove First Baptist Church, and she loved her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Cathy is survived by her husband: Steve Porch of Union Grove; son and daughter-in-law: Waverly Steven and Tammy Porch of Rocky Mountain, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law: Stefanie Deanna and Lee Culpepper of Wetumpka; six grandchildren: Tyler Culpepper, Anslee Culpepper, Jackson Culpepper, Jaycie Porch, Cameron Porch and Sadie Porch; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Alan and Sara Haynes, Mike Haynes and Phillip and Kathy Haynes of Section; and sister and brother-in-law: Dianna and Jimmy Carson of Dutton. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with John Howard, Willis Kelley and Jimmy Carson officiating. Burial was in Union Grove Cemetery.
