Cornelius, 55, of Zephyr, were to be at 2:30 today at Davis-Morris Funeral Home with burial in Zephyr Cemetery. The Rev. W. M. McClesky was to officiate. Mr. Cornelius died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday in a Brownwood hospital following a brief illness. Self-employed, he was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church. He was married to Cledah Zell Beckham at Blanket Sep. 9, 1936 and had lived all of his life in Zephyr. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald and Kendall, both of Zephyr; two daughters, Mrs. Bob Curbo of Brownwood and Mrs. L. G. Assenmacher of Abilene; three brothers, C. U. Cornelius of Brownwood, L. D. and G. D., both of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Virgle Bramlett of Rising Star and Mrs. Joe Martin of Abilene; and four grandchildren."
