Thomas David Reynolds

Thomas David Reynolds was the third son and child of John Reynolds and Mary Ann Hudlow. He was born around the year 1824 in Bedford County, Tennessee. I believe that David was married twice, I'm not sure of the name of his first wife or what happened to her. He next married a lady by the name of Mary Bynum, the daughter of J.G., or M.G. Bynum, who was born on January 4, 1834 in Birmingham, Blount county, Alabama. John David and Mary were married on October 11, 1855 in Dekalb county, Alabama, and they moved from Alabama to Titus County, Texas sometime between 1956 and 1859.

The court papers of his father's death, states that he resides in the State of Texas and the 1880 Titus County Census records which list David and Mary with six children:

		John, born c. 1851 in Alabama;
		Allabama, a daughter born c. 1852 in Alabama;
		Jane, born c. 1859 in Alabama;
		Peggy, born c. 1861 in Texas;
		Lu, a female born c. 1863 in Texas; and
		Elizabeth, born c. 1865 in Texas.

Most of the information comes from Ancestral Files that were turned in to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-dat Saints by a cousin, Norma Mae Crye of Espanola, New Mexico. I have not been able to locate cousin Norma, but am still trying. From her information I have been able to determine that: From Thomas David's first marriage there were three children born:

		N.A. Reynolds, a daughter bon in 1849 in Alabama,
		John C., born in 1851 in Alabama and
		Missouri Alabama Reynolds, a daughter who was born on April 3, 1852 in Alabama, Married Wilson H. Bynum in September of 1872 and died on February 22, 1927.

The following children were born to his marriage to Mary Bynum:

		James Calvin, born July 24, 1856 in Alabama, married Fannie Stephens and died on February 7, 1910;
		Keziah Jane, born on May 15, 1858 in Cookville, Titus county, Texas, married Solomon Andrew Wadsworth on September 16, 1931 in Oakbranch, Ellis county, Texas and died on September 16, 1931 in Zephyn, Brown county, Texas;
		Rebecca Isabelle, born April 26, 1860 in Cookville, married James Anthony Hallmark and died on February 28, 1949 in Brown county, Texas;
		Louisa Reynolds, born on May 20, 1862 in Cookville, married Joe Parker and died on November 5, 1943;
		Elizabeth, born April 12, 1868 in Cookville and died on September 18, 1880;
		Joseph Johnson Reynolds, born on September 26, 1869 in Cookville, married Ida Bynum and died on January 28, 1942;
		George Lee, born on August 24th, 1872 in Texas and died on December 24, 1958; and their last child,
		Gus B. Reynolds who was born on November 19, 1874 in Mountain Peak, Ellis county, Texas, married Lela Nesmith on April 7, 1901 and died on February 25, 1958.

I have not been able to find out any additional information on this family. Hopefully I will be able to locate some of Thomas David and Mary's descendants in the near future and be able to locate many more of our cousins.
