QUERY: Searching for family of Capt. William A. Reynolds, B-17 pilot, 447th Bombardment Group (Heavy), 711th Bomb Squadron, 8th Air Force. He was killed in action on 2 November 1944 when his plane was hit over Merseburg, Germany and exploded, killing all on board. I am researching another crew in the 447th and one of the crewmen initially flew with Reynolds. I have a crew photo that may have Reynolds in it but I will not be sure until I get a known photo of him with which to compare. Thank you.

QUERY: Dear all,

I am researching a Charles Reynolds (my great-great-great grandfather) who was born in Essex County (I think) New York, on 19 November 1827. I am reasonably sure he had a brother named Cyrus (~1839-1883). The Reynolds brothers (and possibly their parents) moved to Ohio (where Charles married Eliza A. Storrs on 5 December 1848) and then to Michigan. Cyrus ended up in Minnesota, and Charles moved on to Florida and Wisconsin before dying in Sturgeon Bay (WI) on 23 October 1890.

So far, I have no information on Charles' parents - I have run down several leads, but all have turned out to be dead ends. Does anyone have any information on this family?

QUERY: I have been searching for my ancestors for quite a while now and have reached a dead end. From what I know is that the line traces back to a DAVID JOHN REYNOLDS, who was born Nov. 13th 1788. He married MARY ANN OWENS and had Peter David Owens Reynolds, who had Jonathan Joseph Reynolds, who moved to Utah and had Daniel Nephi Reynolds, my great, great grandfather. I know the information is vague, but I do know Jonathan married Mary Ann Newham and I'm not sure if she made it over to Utah or not. I have read that the name "Mc" was dropped from the name, but I can't officially verify this. Any information on this family line, if you have it, would be wonderful.

I have had my name changed when I was adopted to Krystal Lynn Burk. I was married so that is why my last name is now Paluska. According to my adoption records, I was abandoned in 1983 and my mother never tried to reclaim me for reasons I have no idea. Her last known addresses were in Lynwood, Illinois and Chicago Heights, Illinois. My father's name is unknown. I would really like to find her whether she wants to meet me or not.
