Calvin Reynolds was born about 1800. According to census records he born in either Virginia or Georgia. The first record of him is when he marries Millie Spears in Bedford Tenn on Aug 23, 1823. He is then found in the 1830 census records where he is living in Fackler, Jackson Co., Alabama. He remains in Fackler until his death, 9/13/1852. He received a land grant for fighting in the Florida Indian Wars. It is somewhat unclear but I think he sold the land that was given to him in Arkansas and bought land in Alabama as he was already living there. All of his children were born there. After his death, his wife Millie moved with her sons to Western Grove, Arkansas. She died there in 1870.
