These photos are all direct relatives of mine. The photos of Charles Lincoln Reynolds and his wife, Amelia Florence, are the earliest photos I have of my "Reynolds" ancestors; they are my paternal Great Grandparents. All of these people are identified in the PDF document "The Descendants of William and Almira (Brockway) Reynolds" that's saved in the RFA's "Family Stories" section.
Info about several of the photos:
- Charles Lincoln ran away from home at the age of 14 to join a cattle drive. He died at his ranch in Manhattan, Montana after a horse kicked him in the head.
- Edward Milton Reynolds was sheriff of Gallatin County Montana. He was a witness to the last public hanging in Montana.
- Edward Evan was the son of Edward Milton
- Albert Clayton was the son of Charles Lincoln
- Anna Bell was the daughter of Charles Lincoln
- Lewis Harrison Reynolds homesteaded near Hazny, Montana.
- Lewis Harrison was the son of Charles Lincoln
- Ida Winifred (Wini) Heck was the wife of Lewis Harrison
- Alvin was the son of Lewis & Wini. Alvin served in the US Army Air Corps in WWII.
- Marge was the daughter of Lewis & Wini
- Harold was the son of Lewis & Wini. He received a Purple Heart for wounds received during the battle for Iwo Jima.
- Adebert was the son of Lewis & Wini. He received a Purple Heart for wounds received during the Korean War.
- Dorothy was the daughter of Lewis & Wini
- Dick was the son of Lewis & Wini.
