2018 RFA Annual Reunion
For the 85th Reynolds Family Association Annual Reunion we picked Independence, Missouri, because it is centrally located and therefore, hopefully we could attract more people. What we found was much more than we expected. For those who missed it, the Mid-west Genealogy Center, part of the Mid Continent Library, is one of the most extensive Genealogy Libraries that I have ever visited.
Not only did we have a wonder meeting, there was so very much research available during our off time. Of course, there was a world of entertainment with local historic sites and museums.
The majority of our lectures were by Tommy Joe Reynolds on the Reynolds Surname yDNA Projects. You can see the entire presentation by clicking on the YouTube button on located in the left navigation bar.
This year was also different in that we tried to hold the conference down to two days instead of three. Friday was for pre-registration and a meet and greet. The conference and business meeting was held on Satruday. It was a very fast paced conference and I would like to go back to a three day conference next year.
