QUERY: Searching for parents of Rebecca REYNOLDS, born 17 Aug 1810 in Ohio.(b-day taken from Bible)Married Enos BUTLER Jan. 21, 1830 Wayne, Allen Co., IN. On 1830 census for Allen Co., there is a John REYNOLDS, right age to be her father living about 10 houses away. There is a Thomas living near Rebecca that is the right to be a brother. Rebecca named first son John and second son Thomas. I can not locate John Reynolds in 1840 but a woman is living with Rebecca and Enos that could be her mother. Enos and Rebecca moved to Fulton Co., IN, Cass Co., IN and then on to Page Co. IA where Enos died 1865 and Rebecca in 1874. Other children are Zephenia, Enoc C., Mary A. CLEVENGER, Lydia ANDREWS. Some of this line moved to NE. Is John Rebecca's father and Thomas her brother??? Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.

QUERY: I would appreciate any help on the following problem:
1. The 1850 Ohio Springfield Census shows my gggrandfather as Harris Reynolds born in 1820 in New York.
2. The marriage certificate from Bloomington ill on his son Dr. Horace Dillon Reynolds in 1898 shows his dad to be Horace Reynolds.
3. The DAR shows Horace's dad to be H. C. Reynolds and married to Harriet Caroline Larzelere (H.C.--coincidence).
4. The 10/24/1848 Ohio marriage index shows his dad to be Hazen B. Reynolds marrying Caroline H. Lazelere.( I have requested the certif from the Zanesville courthouse and hope there are typos in the index.
5. A Horace Reynolds b. 1820 enlisted from Ohio in G Co. 76th inf reg ohio on 10/28/1861 and died 6/13/1862 at Bethel Tn. as published in the 1886 official ohio roster. This could explain why he is not on the 1860 Census but the rest of the family is.
I connect to the Rev War Joseph Rodman on the 1790 census in New York (Dar # 41777).

QUERY: I am still looking for any connections to my ggg grandfather:
Allen REYNOLDS b Oct 21, 1787 (Saratoga Cty. NY) d. Jan 18, 1864
m. Susanna ALLEN b. Sept 9, 1787 (Massachusetts) d. Apr 12 1862. They lived and died in the Town of Galen, NY (now in Wayne Cty.)
I believe Allen and Susanna were married in the Galen area, since according to Quaker meeting house records Susanna's parents were also in the area.
Allen Reynolds most likely had other relatives in the area too. We know he had a nephew, Elnathan Reynolds, according to census records.
Some of the children or grandchildren may have moved west to Michigan (?).
Allen and Susanna's children were:
William A. - b. July 15, 1821 (m. Phebe Thorn)
Mary J. - b. May 21, 1823
Amaziah Allen - b. March 19, 1825, d. Mar 20, 1916 (m. Edna Vail)
Eleanor - b. March 19, 1827
Joseph H. - b. May 29, 1829
Henry K. - b. Feb 23, 1832
My gg grandfather Amaziah Allen REYNOLDS, married Edna Vail on Dec 22, 1847. Their children were:
Sarah - b. Jan 3, 1849
Ella - b. Jan 7, 1851 (m. Lewis Wells)
Alfred A. - b. Aug 11, 1855 (m. Helen Johnson)
Lillian - b. Jan 4, 1862
Walter Vail - b. May 29, 1865 (m. Grace DeVoe)
Wallace (Walter's twin) - b. May 29, 1865
Amaziah and his brother William both moved from Galen to Wolcott, (Wayne Cty) NY, where they purchased land in 1848. William moved from Wolcott and was last known to live in Junius, NY.
I do have some info on William, but not sure if its accurate.
If you have any information or possible leads please contact me directly. I will be happy to share any other info and more details that I have.
Thanks in advance

Children were: Charles, Emaline, Record, Jonathan b. 18 Jul 1842 d. 8 Mar 1917(my great grandfather), Catherine (Mrs. Issac Baker of Cameron, NY) and Andrew.
JONATHAN REYNOLDS married CATHERINE JANE DENNIS b. 23 Jul 1844 d. 11 May 1913 - They are both buried in Jasper Village Cemetery, NY. Catherine was the daughter of DAVID DENNIS b. 1807 d. 20 Feb 1877 and HARRIET RUSSELL DRAKE (daughter of PETER DRAKE) b. 4 Jun 1815 d. 11 Apr 1867.
AUGUSTUS REYNOLDS, son of Jonathan was my grandfather. He is buried in Jasper Village Cemetery with his parents. Married Kate Minnie Dixon b. 4 Jul 1879 Kensington, Eng. d. 3 May 1906 Chicago, IL..
Jonathan, Catherine Jane, and Augustus traveled to Illinois, Iowa, where there were many relatives and friends. Eventually, they came back to Jasper, NY due to illness.
