Chapter Remembers Thier Namesake and Hears From Abigail Adams (November 20, 2021)

Prior to the November meeting, members of the chapter, joined by members of the DAR and Historic Rapides Cemetery Foundation, met at the grave of Enemund Meullion for a more formal wreath presentation. One of our members, Taylor Thompson, is a direct descendant of the patriot and was on hand for the ceremony.

Immediately after we moved to our meeting place where former Loyalty DAR Regent Katherine Lee, dressed as Abigail Adams, received a Certificate of Appreciation for her presentation. She discussed the life of John and Abigail Adams, former First Lady of the United States.
